Other Options: Additional Choices When Backing Up Your Files

The additional options are self-explanatory. "Always perform a full backup" will force the ABS Backup program to resend copies of files that have not changed. In most cases, files that don't change will be skipped to speed the process.

The other options may be useful. Choosing "Hide the application when this schedule is activated" will let you work uninterrupted while the backup runs. The option to "Display 15 second notice to allow cancellation of backup" will let you postpone a backup if you are working on important tasks. And the option to "Request all other running applications to save their data" allows your files to be automatically closed or updated before the backup starts.

Once you've set the start time and how often to run, be sure to save your choices. Click the "Apply" button below to save those choices. Whenever you make a change to the schedule, you must click on the "Apply" button.
