Selecting Files for Your ABS Off-Site Backup
Step Three: Running the ABS Off-Site Backup Manually
To run the backup now, simply click the Backup button in the lower right corner.

The ABS Backup program will check to see which files need to be saved and will then create a copy of any file which has changed or has not yet been saved to the ABS Backup network. The sample screen image below shows the ABS Backup program as it collects the files to safeguard and sends them to our system. Every file is scrambled to ensure no one, not even the staff at All Bytes Synchronized, is able to read your privileged information. The files are also squeezed down to a smaller size to conserve the amount of space used to safeguard your files.

Once the Backup process has finished, you should see a notice telling you that the backup was completed without incident. If any issues did arise, you may review a report describing the trouble. We also monitor the activity to watch for problems. Once complete, all you need do is click on the Home or close the program.
