Step Three: Backing Up Manually

The ABS Backup program automatically prepares the files, evaluates what changed, and copies the new or updated files to the ABS Backup system.

Once the ABS backup process begins, whether by clicking "Backup Now" or when scheduled to run automatically, each file is encrypted to make sure noone is able to read your privileged information. The files are also squeezed to a smaller size to maximize storage space on the ABS Backup system.

Once the Backup process has completed, if you are running the backup manually, you should receive a notice telling you there were no troubles during the backup. If any issues did arise, you will have a chance to review the issues reported.
